After starting his career in Beirut at Marcel Sioufi Law Firm, Georges headed the legal department of CMA-CGM, where he held various senior management positions for many years. He also served as Special Advisor to the Chairman, working on all of the Group’s strategic matters, particularly restructuring and refinancing.

He is involved in all of the firm’s major and strategic cases. Georges has been practicing business law for nearly 40 years and has in-depth expertise in its practical application to corporate structures, commercial transactions, and international investments.

He is also highly experienced in the mechanisms of dispute resolution, whether through litigation, arbitration proceedings, or out-of-court settlements.

He has specific expertise in the transport, infrastructure, banking, and finance sectors.

His practice focuses on international transactions and disputes, particularly those related to the Middle East and Africa.

Georges also served as a judge at the Marseille Commercial Court from 1996 to 1998. Since 2004, he has been an arbitrator and a member of the Board of Directors of the Chambre Arbitrale Maritime de Paris.

He is also the Managing Partner and co-founder of SRDB Law Firm.

Georges holds a degree in private law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and a postgraduate degree (DESS) in Transport Law from the University of Aix-en-Provence.
